Life Insurance and Charitable Goals

September 1, 2022

Presenter:  Richard E. Connolly, J.D.

Principal | Ward & Connolly

Whether intentional or not, your charity will likely end up owning life insurance on donors. The repeating question we then get is “How do we manage these policies to make sure the charitable goal will be met?”.

Rich’s presentation will answer this question, and many more, by explaining how cash value life insurance works, when and how policy problems occur, and provide you with steps and processes to prevent problems from arising and resolving the ones that still do all while maintaining a good relationship with the donor.
Presenter bio: Rich is Principal with Paul Ward in Ward & Connolly, a provider of life insurance consulting and sales services. A graduate of Duke Law School, he is admitted to the bar in Ohio and Florida. With more than 25 years of experience in tax law, estate, business and life insurance planning, Rich is a frequent speaker on life insurance and its uses in estate and succession planning. He regularly provides life insurance policy evaluation and consulting to charities, law firms, fee only financial planners and trustees.
RSVP Deadline is Noon on Friday, August 25
